This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Curator (the “App”) handles information when you play the game. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.
Information stored on your device
The App stores game progress, unlocked levels, star ratings, move records, hint usage, collection progress, and settings locally on your device. This information is used to operate the game and is not submitted directly to the developer through an account system.
Advertising and automatically collected information
The App uses third-party advertising services. These services may automatically process device information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, operating system and app version, advertising identifiers, ad impressions, ad interactions, diagnostics, and similar usage data. Where required, access to the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) is requested through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you deny permission, the App may still show non-personalized or contextual advertising.
Third-party services
The App integrates advertising technology from Chartboost, Yandex Mobile Ads, Vungle/Liftoff, and InMobi. These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may act as independent data controllers or processors. Their practices, retention periods, and international data transfers are governed by their respective policies.
How information is used
Information may be used to provide and maintain gameplay, save preferences, deliver and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, prevent fraud, diagnose crashes or technical problems, and improve performance.
Your choices
You can decline tracking when prompted by iOS and can later change tracking permission in your device’s Settings. You may also reset the advertising identifier or limit personalized advertising through applicable device controls. Local game data can be removed by deleting the App; some locally stored progress may also be reset within the App.
Data retention and security
Local game data remains on your device until it is reset or the App is deleted. Third-party providers retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the developer so the concern can be reviewed.
International processing
Advertising providers may process information in countries other than your own. Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or legal requirements. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
